Ways to Unwind

Have you ever had one of those days that you just want to crawl back in to bed and start over. It seems that no matter what you do everything seems to go wrong. I had one of those days today! Hence the super late blog (sorry loves!) Don’t fret, these days can easily be reversed. 🧘‍♀️

First, take a deep breath! Slowly take your arms and raise them to the sky as you take a deep breath in and slowly breath it out. Focus on getting rid of whatever negative energy is bringing your day down. (If you aren’t in a place to raise your arms, slowly raise your shoulders and lower them while taking a deep breath.)

Second, don’t let the negativity consume you. You’ve got this! It may seem that everything is going wrong but stay positive and push through it.

Third, take a minute to yourself. Your mental health is important, if you feel yourself getting overwhelmed…STOP. If you need to go into the bathroom at work, go to a quiet place at home or just go to your car, do so to get some quiet time. ⏰

Fourth and final, outweigh bad thoughts by trumping them with something good. For example if you are feeling sad, think of something you are thankful for that is positive in your life. If you are feeling overwhelmed, think about how you will feel when you are finished with your task.

Don’t let yourself get caught in the moment. Bad days are going to happen, but you can reverse them and turn them into a positive. Keep at it! Positive vibes only ☁️ 💫 ☁️
